The Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph T137.427.11.091.00 expands the collection’s celebrated integrated design with mechanical chronograph performance and a distinctive graded green dial. Its signature waffle-pattern surface creates geometric depth, while the colour transitions from a brighter green at the centre to darker tones around the perimeter. Matching recessed subdials maintain a cohesive appearance and provide a balanced three-register layout.

Chronograph information is displayed through a central elapsed-seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock. The small-seconds display at 9 o’clock completes the symmetrical arrangement, while an angled date window at 4:30 adds everyday functionality. Applied indexes and Super-LumiNova-coated hands create clear contrast against the richly textured dial.

Inspired by the original PRX architecture introduced in 1978, the 42 mm tonneau-shaped case combines broad satin-brushed surfaces with carefully polished accents. Its integrated construction produces a continuous line from the case into the bracelet, reinforcing the watch’s confident 1970s sports-watch character. The case measures 41.5 mm in length and 14.54 mm thick, giving the chronograph a substantial yet carefully proportioned presence.

Inside is the Valjoux A05.H31 Swiss automatic chronograph movement, engineered with an extended power reserve of up to 68 hours. This allows the watch to continue running throughout a weekend when fully wound. A patented Nivachron balance spring provides greater resistance to the magnetic fields generated by everyday electronic devices, helping preserve reliable mechanical performance. The movement and its decorated architecture can be viewed through the transparent exhibition caseback.

Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on the underside protects the dial while improving visibility. The integrated stainless-steel bracelet combines brushed links with polished detailing and secures through a butterfly clasp with push-buttons. Tissot’s quick-release system also allows the bracelet to be removed without conventional tools.

Water resistance to 100 metres adds practical versatility to this sophisticated mechanical chronograph. Combining a graded green dial, substantial wrist presence and genuine Swiss chronograph engineering, this PRX delivers a compelling balance of retro design and contemporary performance.
