The Tissot Heritage 1973 T124.427.16.041.00 celebrates the brand’s longstanding connection to motor racing through a mechanical chronograph steeped in 1970s character. Produced as a limited edition of 1,973 pieces, it combines a distinctive vintage silhouette with the performance and convenience of a contemporary Swiss automatic movement.

Its design recalls the Tissot Navigator chronographs of the period and commemorates the partnership between Tissot and the Kessel Classics racing team. A dark blue dial is contrasted by three matte white counters, creating the enthusiast-favoured blue panda configuration. Applied hour indexes, orange chronograph accents and a tachymeter scale reinforce its sporting personality, while a date aperture provides everyday functionality.

The chronograph display measures elapsed seconds, minutes and hours through its central chronograph hand and dedicated 30-minute and 12-hour counters. Despite the quantity of information presented, the high-contrast dial arrangement keeps each indication visually distinct and easy to read.

The perforated brown leather rally strap is based on a style Tissot developed and patented during the 1960s. Its oversized perforations recall the steering wheels of classic racing cars, while contrasting stitching strengthens its period appearance. A butterfly clasp with push-buttons offers greater security while preserving the uninterrupted look of the leather.

Water resistance to 10 bar, 100 metres or 330 feet adds meaningful versatility beyond its vintage inspiration.
