The Seiko Prospex Marinemaster 1968 Heritage Diver’s Watch SLA079J1 is a modern reinterpretation of Seiko’s legendary 1968 professional diver, combining heritage-inspired design with Seiko’s high-performance 8L35 mechanical movement.

Featuring a bold 42.6mm stainless steel case, a textured black dial with refined gilt-tone accents and a unidirectional rotating bezel, the SLA079J1 delivers the unmistakable presence of the Marinemaster collection while maintaining the rugged functionality expected of a professional dive watch.

At its heart is Seiko’s Caliber 8L35 automatic movement with manual winding, offering approximately 50 hours of power reserve, a 28,800 vibrations-per-hour beat rate and a stop-seconds function. The watch is equipped with a dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface for enhanced durability and legibility.

Designed for serious underwater use, the SLA079J1 features a screw-down crown, screw case back and 300-metre water resistance. LumiBrite is applied to the hands, indexes and bezel for excellent visibility in low-light conditions.

The watch is completed with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a secure three-fold clasp, push-button release and diving extension.
