The Oris Divers Date 01 733 7795 4057-SET introduces a distinctive olive-green dial inspired by the practical colours of vintage military equipment. Robust, highly legible and unusually versatile, the colour complements the watch’s retro diving character while giving this modern reference a clear identity of its own.

The Divers Date is the natural successor to the celebrated Divers Sixty-Five and traces its design lineage to Oris’s first dive-ready watch from 1965. Its compact 39 mm multi-piece stainless-steel case preserves the balanced proportions associated with classic skin divers while offering modern water resistance to 200 metres.

A unidirectional rotating bezel surrounds the dial and incorporates a hard-wearing black ceramic insert. Ceramic provides greater resistance to scratching and fading than a conventional aluminium insert, helping the bezel retain its appearance through years of regular wear. The screw-in stainless-steel security crown adds practical protection when the watch is exposed to water.

The olive dial is designed for immediate readability. Applied indexes and the hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, while the luminous lollipop seconds hand provides a visible indication that the movement is operating. A neatly integrated date window at 6 o’clock maintains the dial’s symmetry and adds useful everyday functionality.

Protecting the display is a sapphire crystal domed on both sides to reinforce the watch’s vintage profile. An anti-reflective coating on the inside improves clarity in changing light without compromising the crystal’s smooth exterior surface.

The watch is powered by the Oris Calibre 733-1, a Swiss automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve and includes central hours, minutes and seconds, instantaneous date, date corrector and stop-seconds functionality. Its mechanical construction is visible through the screwed stainless-steel caseback and transparent mineral-glass window.

This complete SET configuration includes a multi-piece stainless-steel bracelet with a folding clasp and quick-change system. An additional black rubber strap with stainless-steel buckle is also supplied, allowing the watch to move easily between a refined steel-bracelet appearance and a sportier configuration. Both options can be changed without conventional watchmaking tools.
