Introduced in 1938, the Big Crown Pointer Date was originally designed with pilots in mind. Its enlarged crown made the watch easier to operate while wearing gloves, while the pointer-date mechanism displayed the calendar without interrupting the dial with a conventional date window. These functional details evolved into a distinctive Oris design language that remains immediately recognizable nearly nine decades later.

This contemporary interpretation introduces a decorative pink dial with contrasting textures.
