The edition is limited to 1,249 pieces, a symbolic reference to recent estimates of the remaining population of this remarkable aquatic mammal. 

At 43.5 mm in diameter, the stainless steel case offers robust water resistance to 300 m (30 bar) — making it perfectly suited as a dive companion. Its blue-green mother-of-pearl dial shimmers with light like the surface of the river itself and features a printed wave motif inspired by the echolocation sound waves of the Yangtze finless porpoise, giving both aesthetic depth and narrative significance to the design. The dial also incorporates luminescent hands and applied indices for excellent legibility in low light.
