Its design grew from a conversation with Oris ambassador and award-winning underwater photographer Francis Pérez, whose work documents the beauty and fragility of marine environments. The watch continues Oris’s ocean-conservation storytelling, drawing attention to kelp forests through a distinctive interpretation of the Aquis Date.

The dial is the defining feature of this edition. A 3D-printed surface treatment creates a light green kelp forest pattern across the ocean green background, introducing texture and variations of green and gold as the light changes. The effect recalls kelp moving beneath the water, giving the dial an appearance that rewards a closer look. Gold-toned outlines on the hands and hour markers complement the colour scheme, while Super-LumiNova supports visibility in low light.
