Its deep blue dial, matching ceramic bezel and integrated stainless-steel bracelet create a confident sporting profile, while carefully refined proportions allow it to transition naturally from an active weekend to more formal surroundings.

The blue dial is fitted with polished, shield-shaped hour markers and distinctive Alpha-style hands. Super-LumiNova provides strong visibility in reduced light, and the colour-matched date wheel at 6 o’clock integrates the calendar display without disturbing the dial’s symmetry. Surrounding it is a unidirectional rotating bezel with a durable blue ceramic minutes-scale top ring, giving the watch an essential diving function with excellent resistance to scratches and fading.

Its multi-piece 43.5 mm stainless-steel case features sculpted lugs and protective crown guards that are unmistakably Aquis. A domed sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the screw-down crown, screwed caseback and robust construction support water resistance to 30 bar, 300 metres or 1,000 feet. Calibre 400 was also engineered for contemporary environments where magnetism from electronics can affect conventional mechanical watches. More than 30 non-ferrous and anti-magnetic components help it retain stable performance after exposure to strong magnetic fields. Its simplified, low-friction winding system is designed to reduce wear, enabling Oris to recommend movement service intervals of up to 10 years under normal conditions.

The redesigned three-link stainless-steel bracelet tapers toward the clasp for improved balance and comfort. Its Oris-patented quick-adjust system lets the wearer fine-tune the bracelet length without removing the watch or handling individual links—particularly useful as wrist size changes throughout the day.
