The Frédérique Constant Manufacture Classic Moonphase Date Automatic FC-716S3H6 presents two traditional astronomical complications within a restrained, contemporary design. Its polished three-part 40 mm stainless-steel case frames a radiant silver-grey sunray brass dial with applied diamond-cut indexes, diamond-faceted hour and minute hands and a precise railway-style minute track. A star-studded moonphase aperture at 6 o’clock follows the 29.5-day lunar cycle, while a central pointer-date hand indicates the date against a peripheral scale graduated from 1 to 31. The traditional onion-shaped crown allows every function to be adjusted from a single control.

Developed in-house, the automatic Manufacture FC-716 calibre incorporates 156 components and 26 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides an extended three-day—or approximately 72-hour—power reserve. Its fan-shaped Côtes de Genève decoration can be admired through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The watch is completed by a blue alligator-leather strap with navy blue overstitching and an original stainless-steel push-button folding buckle.
