The NS30 Electrostatic Movement

Energy is generated through twin motion-activated turbines that spin at extremely high speeds between electrodes as the watch moves on the wrist. The resulting electrostatic energy is stored in an accumulator and used to drive two separate motors:

• A step motor advancing the hour and minute hands

Power Saving Function

To preserve stored energy, the NS30 movement incorporates an intelligent Power Saving Function.

After approximately five minutes of inactivity, the seconds hand automatically stops at the 12 o’clock position while the hour and minute hands continue keeping time. Once wrist motion resumes, the seconds hand gradually returns to the correct position and continues its smooth sweep.
