38mm Seiko Presage Classic Series HCC002 Automatic Watch

The Seiko Presage HCC002 is a new 38.0mm model in the Presage Classic Series. Seiko describes the Classic Series as drawing from the colours, materials and textures of traditional Japanese crafts. The HCC002 features a richly textured dial designed around the colour wakatake-iro, a fresh, vibrant green traditionally associated with kimono dyeing.

The watch is powered by Seiko's Caliber 6R51 automatic movement with manual winding capability and an approximately 72-hour (3-day) power reserve. Its 38.0mm stainless-steel case features a super-hard coating and is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet.

The HCC002 has a dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The 12.9mm-thick case has a 43.8mm lug-to-lug measurement and 20mm distance between the lugs. A deployment clasp with push-button release secures the bracelet, while the see-through and screw case back allows the movement to be viewed. The watch provides 10-bar water resistance and magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m.
